Born and raised under the hot, bright sun of central Florida, I’m not sure the South will ever stop calling my name. I love to be outside in any climate, but I thrive in the heat! Growing up riding horses, I always thought I would make a living riding or ranching, and I haven’t quite given that up. Currently, I am grateful to work remotely, which offers me an enormous amount of flexibility to bring my job along wherever Ben’s career in the Army takes us.
I attribute my constant desire to learn and try new things to my mother’s influence. It’s her brave example in opening and running her own business that planted the entrepreneurial seed in me!
Ben and I were married in January 2024, in the same church (and month!) that my parents were. Two days later, we moved across the country to start our life together. I’m not sure if he knew all my crazy dreams were coming with, but he has been immensely supportive of everything – even if some ideas take a little convincing!

I was raised in a typical suburban neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up, I spent my time playing a variety of sports including soccer, baseball, swimming, and football. While I didn’t always have skill or finesse, these activities taught me the value of a strong work ethic and the importance of being a team player.
Following high school, I joined the Army ROTC program, driven by a desire to serve and lead. After five years of mechanical engineering classes, rigorous ROTC training, and unwavering determination, I commissioned into the Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer. In this role, I have committed myself to ensuring the safety and security of others.
My journey has been shaped by the principles of hard work, teamwork, and service. I strive every day to make my family, my country, and the community around me more resilient.
